Our 2010 Runners
Runners and Walkers in 2010
Please take a look below at some of the people who will be running for Overgate Hospice during 2010. We wish them all the best and are very grateful they have chosen Overgate Hospice as their charity to raise sponsor money for.
I have run several half marathons, including the Leeds Half Marathon May 9th 2010 and i am looking forward to my 2nd Marathon in Edinburgh May 23rd 2010.
Not always been like this, 2007, 20 + stone, heavy smoker, heavy drinker, heavy everything. Still haven't got the figure of a racing snake, but completed Leeds Half in under 2 hours
Want to raise buckets of money for Overgate Hospice, after much research amongst friends and family realised what an impact Overgate has on so many lives, including my own in March when my brother in-laws partner passed away at 44.
So here's to the Hospice Hares, and the next few months of getting everybody I know to dig deep again.

Louise Danielczuk - Run For All
Our Appeals Manager, Louise Danielczuk confesses to be “overweight, out of shape and over the hill!”.
“As manager of the fundraising team at the hospice I am always seeing people who do amazing things for the Hospice, challenging themselves and pushing themselves to the limit. I have sat for long enough just saying ‘thank you’ and decided it was about time I pushed myself to the limit. I was always the one at school who “had a cold” to get out of PE so this is now the challenge of my lifetime to lose 2 stone, get fit and run the 10km’s for the Overgate Hospice.
If I can do it, anyone can do it, so come and join us!
Liz Forster - Run For All
Liz is a nurse at Overgate Hospice working in Day Hospice and is well aware of the support given to patients attending for the day. Liz said: “I have witnessed hope, courage and the friendships built by patients sharing their experiences. I would like to help raise a lot of money within the Hospice Hares to help continue providing a service for many years to come.”
