In-patients
In-patient Unit
The Clinical Team provides specialist assessment, symptom control, rehabilitation and terminal care for people with advanced, life-limiting progressive illness. A significant number of patients are able to return home from the In-patient unit.
The majority of the Clinical Staff hold specialist qualifications. Developing close relationships with patients enhances care and communication. The Hospice also provides support to families and carers.
All patients have access to other services, such as complementary therapy, social work, counselling and spiritual care.
