Join us on the 12th September and get ready to light up the night and make a difference in your community by joining us for the Overgate Hospice Midnight Walk. This special event is not just a walk; it’s a chance to come together and support the incredible work of Overgate Hospice, all while enjoying an unforgettable experience under the stars.

All walkers will take on a 10 mile route as we take to the streets of Calderdale. Everyone is welcome! Whether you’re an experienced walker, walking in memory of your loved one or just looking for a fun and meaningful night out, the Overgate Hospice Midnight Walk is for you.

Dean Clough is a nationally renowned business centre and landmark destination for arts, leisure and retail, stretching half a mile in length and made up of 16 Grade II listed Victorian mills in Halifax. Dean Clough was proud to host the start and finish line of the Overgate Hospice Midnight Walk in 2024 and is delighted to once again welcome walkers back in 2026. Midnight Walk FAQ's

Is there a minimum sponsorship?

There is no minimum sponsorship but all sponsorship money received will go direct to patient care.

Are there toilets on route?

There are toilets at the start and finish line and at the checkpoint on route.

How does the walk work?

Participants will receive a map and directions on the night. There will be marshals on route to ensure participants safety and will answer any questions along the way. The route is on well-lit roads.

What is the last date for entry?

The last date of entry is 1pm on Friday 12th September 2025.

Is there a minimum age for entry?

No there is no minimum age for entries but any participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
