Professionals, patients and carers can ring our advice line on 01422 387131.
During the hours of 9-5 Monday to Friday, if a patient is known to any part of the service (e.g. Community SPCT, Hospital Team, Day Hospice etc.) callers should try to make contact with that service first. It may be that you have to leave a message and the relevant team will get back in touch.
However if they are not available and advice is urgent, please feel free to contact Overgate – when you call, please let us know that you have tried the relevant team and that you need more urgent advice.
If you are paramedic calling for advice, please make sure you let us know your role and that you need urgent advice.
Out of hours please call 01422 379151 – you may hear a recorded message, please press 1 to be put straight through to the nursing team. The nurses may be able to give you the advice you need, but if you need consultant advice, they will take your professional contact details and arrange for the consultant to call you back
