Therapies

Therapies include

  • Aromatherapy - The use of essential oils can create a calming effect on the mind and body.

  • Massage - This therapy promotes physical and mental relaxation by increasing blood circulation and lymphatic flow, thereby helping to eliminate toxins from the body and inducing a relaxed feeling.

  • Reflexology - This involves the stimulation of specific reflex points by a trained Reflexologist, designed to promote relaxation, relieve stress and tension and restore and maintain the body’s natural balance.

  • Diversion Therapy - Our Activities Co-ordinator encourages patients to take part in creative activities.  For some patients the opportunity to draw, paint and write can help them to express their feelings and bring enjoyment and satisfaction.
