We have launched our annual Open Gardens campaign, encouraging the green-fingered across Calderdale to open their gardens to the community and raise much needed funds for us.
Brighouse based Kershaw’s Garden Centre are sponsoring the campaign for 2021 supporting us with the income we need to help support local people at their most difficult time.

Kershaws is one of the oldest Garden Centres in UK. They offer an unrivalled range of plants, garden furniture and garden sundries as well as a cafe and onsite shopping village, housing a variety of small businesses.
In total 15 local gardens will be opening to the public on various dates across summer, and visitors can enjoy a scrumptious cream tea and take part in some great fundraising activities in the sun.
Paul Hinton, owner of Warley gardens said: "It's a pleasure and a privilege to be able to support the work done by our amazing Hospice".

Nikki Scholey, Community Fundraiser said: “It’s wonderful to see so many people getting involved. We have small gardens, and vast green spaces so there is something for everyone. There are also lots of cakes and cream teas involved too! We would like to thank everyone for opening their garden for us. It’s wonderful that so many of our supporters want to share their green space and raise funds for Overgate. A big thank you also goes to our sponsors Kershaws Garden Centre.”
