We are delighted to be bringing back our much-loved Spring Fashion Show, promising a feel-good evening of style, sustainability and celebration for Calderdale’s fashion fans. Taking place on Thursday 26th March at The Venue in Barkisland, the event will shine a spotlight on fresh pre-loved items from our Overgate Hospice charity shops.
On the catwalk, we will showcase a range of spring and summer looks, all carefully handpicked from our shops and styled to show just how fashionable pre-loved clothing can be. Our volunteers and staff will be stepping onto the runway themselves, proudly modelling the outfits and bringing warmth, energy and personality to the show.
Beyond the runway, there is even more to enjoy. Guests will be able to browse a selection of stalls filled with unique pre-loved treasures, from standout statement pieces to everyday favourites, thoughtfully chosen from our shops. It is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a relaxed night out, catch up with friends, and celebrate sustainable fashion while supporting a cause close to the heart of our local community.
Sustainability sits at the heart of our values, and our Spring Fashion Show reflects our commitment to caring for the environment as well as people. We champion greener initiatives across our charity shops, from encouraging upcycling and giving pre-loved items a second home, to introducing biodegradable bags and reducing waste. We have also reduced our carbon footprint by introducing electric vehicles across our fleet, benefiting both our community and the planet.
This year’s show carries added significance as we mark a milestone year with the opening of our new Hospice this spring. As part of a wider celebration of this historic moment, the event offers a chance to reflect on the incredible difference our supporters have made, while also looking ahead to an exciting future for hospice care in Calderdale.

Guests are welcome to arrive from 5.30pm, with the show starting at 7.00pm. With limited parking available, we kindly encourage guests to car share wherever possible. Tickets cost £7.50 and can be purchased online or from any Overgate Hospice Charity Shop across Calderdale. As tickets are expected to sell quickly, early booking is advised.
