We are happy to announce the success of our 2021 Summer Raffle 2021. Together with the help of local businesses, community groups and the wonderful residents of Calderdale, they over £13,000 has been raised!
After such a difficult year for the Hospice, the success of each campaign makes a huge difference in helping us raise the vital funds we need to continue caring the people of Calderdale.
The three lucky winners were treated to a grand prize of £1,000, a fabulous alcohol hamper and a mouth-watering food hamper, respectively. Their winning numbers were:

Food Hamper - 186900
The winner of the £1,000 prize, Elizabeth Farrar, generously donated £100 of her winnings back to the Hospice.

Thank you very much for my cheque, what a wonderful surprise! It’s the first time I have ever won anything. I must say a big thank you to all your marvellous staff for all their good work, every time I speak to someone about Overgate Hospice all I ever hear are wonderful every department is.”
Claire Sullivan, Individual Giving Fundraiser, has expressed what the support from the community means to the Hospice, “
We cannot thank our supporters enough for rallying around our Summer Raffle once more and helping to make it the success it is. After such a difficult 18 months it means so much that people are still finding ways to support us. We would also like to say a huge thank you to the business community of Calderdale for helping us to sell as many tickets as possible. Each year our business friends blow us away with their unwavering support. Roll on the Christmas Raffle 2021!”
