Overgate Hospice needs your help…
Every day we need to raise £6,000 and we couldn’t do it without the help of individuals, companies, organisations –people like you- raising money for us. We are only partly funded by the NHS.
Come and join us on one of our events, join the lottery, get your company to nominate us as their Charity of The Year, shop in one of our eleven shops or simply make a donation; your help and support is always appreciated.

How is the Hospice Funded?
As a charity we are dependent on donations, legacies and fundraising to pay for the care we give. Overgate Hospice costs £2.2 million to run each year of that sum the PCT contribute £600,000 the remaining £1.6 million is raised and donated by the generous Calderdale community.
We have an active fundraising programme to generate the £1.6m needed each year to meet our costs. Fundraising is a vital part of hospice life, as is the friendship and support of the community of Calderdale. Overgate Hospice stands as a tribute to the commitment and generosity of the many people of Calderdale who provide continual and enthusiastic support to help us reach our financial targets.
