Governance

The front of Overgate Hospice
There are a number of processes and bodies that govern how we are funded and how we deliver our services. Our Board of Trustees takes overall responsibility, acting collectively to govern the Hospice and make decisions at board meetings.

There are also specific regulatory bodies we must comply with including the Care Quality Commission and the Fundraising Regulator.

As an organisation, we can confirm we have complied with the government's guidance on managing the risk of COVID-19. Click here to view our signed confirmation.

Whilst Overgate Hospice is an independent charity, we continually work in close collaboration with a number of other local and regional organisations to ensure that all patients, regardless of where they live, receive the best possible end of life care.
We are incredibly proud to be part of the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Health and Care Partnership, working with other hospices in the region, sharing our skills, experiences and expertise, always putting the patient at the centre of all we do.
